Hi! I’m Lydia, a freelance photographer based on the south coast of England. I cover music across the region, including Brighton, London, Southampton and Portsmouth.
From a background in visual arts, I bring an eye for detail and unique approach to my photography. Everything I do is with the goal of capturing and documenting emotion, especially of music and particularly it’s live scene.
I am also available for Portraiture and BTS work, collaborating with artists to help them realise and develop their visual concepts as a photographer and creative director.
I was recently been featured in Kerrang! magazine, working with Electric Callboy so my photographs would be used in a live review of their headliner sold out show at Alexandra Palace.
I have a certificate of Higher Education in Professional Music (Business), and worked at 2000 Trees festival 2025 in artist liaison as well as photographing the festival. I also undertook a mentorship with photographer Jennifer McCord in 2025.
I also run a blog called Behind the curtain, highlighting the people behind the scenes in the music industry and photographing them to put a spotlight on people commonly not noticed or seen by fans in the industry. I’m also actively building my network within the music industry too.
Some of the artists I’ve photographed so far include:
GHOST, Electric Callboy, PVRIS, Käärijä, Kneecap, iDKHOW, Hot Milk, Dodie, Smash Into Pieces, Baby Lasagna, RØRY, Imminence, La Dispute, Bambie Thug, Creeper, VUKOVI, AS DECEMBER FALLS, Shields, Kid Kapichi, and many more.
