Hi! I’m Lydia, a freelance photographer based on the south coast of England. I work as a photojournalist, primarily covering music across the region, including Brighton, London, Southampton and Portsmouth.
From a background in visual arts, I bring an eye for detail and unique approach to my photography. Everything I do is with the goal of capturing and documenting emotion, especially of music and particularly it’s live scene.

Collaborating with artists to help them realise and develop their visual concepts as a photographer and creative director.
I have worked with both Rock Sound and KERRANG! magazine, for exclusive live coverage of concert’s and assisting/ behind the scenes photography for a special cover issues.
I run my own publication Behind the Curtain highlighting the people behind the scenes in the music industry and photographing them to put a spotlight on people commonly not noticed or seen by fans in the industry.
I have a certificate of Higher Education in Professional Music (Business), and worked at 2000 Trees festival 2025/2026 in Artist Liaison as well as photographing the festival.
I undertook a mentorship with photographer Jennifer McCord in 2025.
